How do I find out the status of my order?

To find out about your order status, refer to "My Account > My Orders" when you have logged into the store to view your current and previous orders.

"Processing"
Your order has been received, your credit card has been authorized, and your order will be shipped within 24-48 hours.

"Shipped"
Orders that are paid and have passed fraud screening are shipped and a UPS tracking number is added to that order. Tracking numbers may be accessed by logging in to your account and clicking on the order number. The tracking number is located next to the Shipped status in Order History.

Do I need to create an account to make a purchase in the shop?

Creating an online account on LA Dance Magic isn’t required to explore the site, but is required if you're going to make a purchase.  Creating a shop account will allow you to take advantage of a number of benefits. Not only is shopping and checking out made easier as a result of registering, but the more you use the site, the more personal and convenient the experience will become over time.

Creating an account also allows you to maintain your information with us. Returning customers enjoy a saved address book, the ability to review order history, check current orders and easily edit billing and shipping information.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can have it emailed to the address listed on the account. Simply go to the Login screen and click on the "Password forgoten?" link.

If you are still having trouble, please call customer assistance at 818-541-1316. We will look up your account and a new password will be sent to the email address on file. If your email has changed, we will verify your identity, change your email address and forward you the password.

Do I have to pay sales tax on my purchase?
Sales tax will be determined by the ship-to address of the order and will automatically be added onto the order. We are required by law to apply a sales tax of 9.75% to orders shipped within the state of California.

How do I know if my order was received by LADM?

Immediately after you have successfully placed your order with LA Dance Magic, you will receive an e-mail that contains information regarding the details of your order. The order confirmation e-mail is your receipt that can be printed for your records. The order confirmation e-mail includes your order number (the same number that appeared on our web site after successful submission of an order), the details of the products and corresponding prices, any promotional coupons, your ship-to and bill-to information, and the ship method.

If there are any errors to your order, please contact us immediately.

How soon will I receive my order?

Orders will be processed and shipped within 24-48 hours from the time they are paid. Unfortunately, at this time we do not ship orders on weekends and holidays.

When our shipping department has prepared and packed your order and it is ready to be shipped, you will be receiving a Shipment Confirmation email to the email listed on your account. The majority of our orders are shipped within 1 - 2 business days after placing the order online or over the telephone. You can expect to receive this email within the 1 - 2 business day timeframe. The email contains the details of your shipment as well as a tracking number.

Can I return or exchange something that I purchased?

Doesn't fit? Just return the unworn, unused item within 14 days for a full refund or exchange.

  • For a refund: A credit will be made to the credit card used for original purchase; or you may choose to have a store credit for use at a later time. Your credit will be processed within 30 days of date of receipt.
  • If you would like to make an exchange, please indicate exact information such as size and color. Indicate name and address where it will be shipped. Seal your return carefully and securely. Please include the original shipping form. Return postage must be prepaid. We do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
