Classes, choreography, rehearsals, and discussions with some of the dance industry's most influential players...all leading up to the concert performance of the summer on July 14, 2012
Special guest choreographers of television, film and video, along with dance agents, and a surprise visit from one of your favorite celebrities will make this an exciting week filled with work, work, work, and lots of laughter!
This multi-day workshop, will take place on July 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 2012 in Los Angeles, where you will be learning from and performing next to your favorites from L.A. DanceMagic, and preparing for your performance in the Final Cut Concert on July 14, 2012

We are excited to say that we will be returning to the Hilton Glendale as our host hotel. The rate for the week of Final Cut is $142 S/D/T/Q. The Hilton will provide daily complimentary shuttle service to and from our rehearsal studio. They will also be providing a complimentary breakfast buffet, with omelet station, each morning for up to 4 people per room.
Your first morning will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a meeting explaining the entire week. If parents are accompanying their children, they're invited to attend the meeting too! You will be given daily complimentary shuttle service to and from our rehearsal studio along with complimentary breakfast!
Following the meeting, and a warm-up, you will learn and demonstrate several different styles of dancing i.e. jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop. Our choreographers will be on hand to cast the dancers in their respective pieces. The remainder of the day will be devoted to rehearsal.
In addition to our rehearsal space at the hotel we will also have a rehearsal studio located in beautiful, downtown Montrose which hosts several restaurants and cafes. Our dancers may choose to eat out during lunch breaks, however, you will be required to stay in a group, and must check in and out of rehearsal with your group. This is a lovely area of town and will bring a nice break to your rehearsal day.
For those who would like to audition for the L.A. DanceMagic '11/12 Dance Company, this entire week will serve as your audition. This is not a mandatory part of Final Cut.

* Items that you may need to bring i.e. black shoes, crop tops, black pants
* List of nearby eateries with menus and prices
* A sample of a daily schedule. It will be necessary to adjust times as the week progresses, based on rehearsal needs
